Use coconut oil to help with ear infections

I know we say it all the time, but coconut oil has antifungal, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. This is one of the main reasons its so incredibly versatile in helping us out in our every day lives. Obviously, you should check with your Doctor before you try it.

First, you need unrefined virgin coconut oil. If you are new to buying coconut oil, check out our post on how to purchase coconut oil. Put some of the oil inside of your ear (some people use a dropper). Then lay on your side with the infected ear facing upwards and massage the ear so that the coconut oil gets down inside.

This is also great for swimmer’s ear.

Yep, so many rad things, ya can’t even count them all!

It can also help the ears with dryness and itching, tinnitus (ringing ears), ear aches, wax, swelling, and potentially even deafness.

Can you hear the coconut oil calling you? If not, maybe you should try some.
